Stuck Tank/Moist Earth
SLAVIC GODDESS OF “THE MOIST EARTH”, MATI SYRA ZEMLYA,
IS AT WORK IN UKRAINE…
This morning, as I drove along the sunrise, from one side of town to another, I listened to an expert talk about the crisis in the Slavic East.
And then all at once the expert began weaving a spell.
Quite beyond his knowledge I presume.
Telling the story of “Stuck Tank/Moist Earth”
Which I’m sure will go down in history.
He relayed the fact that the aggressor had planned all of their logistics around the regular -20° winter weather.
They had hoped for a fight on open, frozen ground.
But instead, it is unseasonably warm. In the past weeks the temperature has steadily rose from 20, to , 30, 40, and now 50°. Which is absolutely unheard of this time of year.
A miracle.
The ground has thawed quickly.
Transformed from a hard solid surface, to a thick sludge of “moist earth”.

Their artillery and tanks are being captured and swallowed by Her her body. Consumed all the way up to the turret.
Mati Syra’s hardened, smooth, skin turned supple and soft.
She has opened her womb/tomb and tried to pull the invader inside.
But before she fully absorbed the occupiers, they abandoned their post. Fled, Unharmed.
Allowing the Ukrainian Army to seize and tow the artillery and then integrate it into the Ukrainian Arsenal.
Mati Syra Zemlya has shown us that being hard, armored, untriggered by events isn’t the way forward.
She allowed herself to be softened by her rage.
Her fierce heart flung wide open.
Her ferocious love tenderizing the field of battle.
Pouring this nectar into the hearts of Her sons and daughters. Emboldening them to press on with courage.
This is “The Feminine Force” in action. And I love to witness Her primal power.
Or from an astrological perspective: Venus, tempering, or mitigating the energy of Mars/Pluto.

WHO IS MATI SYRA ZEMLYA?
“In the early Middle Ages, Mati Syra Zemlya was one of the most important deities in the Slavic world. Slavs made oaths by touching the Earth, and sins were confessed into a hole in the Earth before death. She was worshipped in her natural form and was not given a human personage or likeness.
An example of her importance is seen in this traditional invocation to Matka Ziema, made with a jar of hemp oil:
East – "Mother Earth, subdue every evil and unclean being so that he may not cast a spell on us nor do us any harm."
West – "Mother Earth, engulf the unclean power in thy boiling pits, and in thy burning fires." South – "Mother Earth, calm the winds coming from the South and all bad weather. Calm the moving sands and whirlwinds."
North – "Mother Earth, calm the North winds and clouds, subdue the snowstorms and the cold."
The jar, which held the oil, is buried after each invocation and offering is made at each Quarter. (Slavonic mythology 1977:287)[6]
Old Slavic beliefs seem to attest some awareness of an ambivalent nature of the Earth: it was considered men's cradle and nurturer during one's lifetime, and, when the time of death came, it would open up to receive their bones, as if it were a "return to the womb".[7][b][c][d]
The imagery of the terre humide ("moist earth") also appears in funeral lamentations either as a geographical feature (as in Lithuanian and Ukrainian lamentations)[12] or invoked as Mère-Terre humide ("Mother Moist Earth").”
