The Mystery School Of Libra

Libra is a Masculine Air Sign Ruled by Venus. Here, we find the mysteries of Harmony, Balance, and Justice, as defined by Karma, or the laws of Cause and Effect. “The Act of Balancing”

Whenever we have an astrological focus on Libra, we are being asked to weigh and balance the influences in our lives. To bring what is out of harmony back into harmony. To calibrate or recalibrate in life, love, and leadership.

I wrote a recent transmission here about Balance and Karma for those who’d like to deepen with these mysteries. To read about the Mystery School Lessons of Libra, click here - and here.

Deep at home within the Libran Mysteries we find the Goddess Ma’at.

Ma'at is the discerning quality within each of us, which weighs and measures the causes and effects of any given situation.

Goddess Ma'at is a goddess of the scales, She and the Justice card, also associated with Libra, ask us to seek balance, justice, & truth, while being observant of cause & effect.

AKA: Karma.

To focus on balance and harmony, and how these concepts are practiced within our relational lives.

The Tarot correspondent for the astrological sign of Libra is the Justice card (the scales). We also speak briefly about the Tower Card and it’s relationship to the sign of Aries.

Also mentioned is the fact that this is the 7th Full Moon in a row that has been at the 16th degree. This began in the sign of Libra in October. In numerology 16 is deduced to the number 8, which corresponds to The Number 8 corresponds to balance, and infinity. It resonates with authority, self-confidence, inner-strength, inner wisdom, social status, ego and at the same time has to love for humanity and a desire for peace. Those with an 8 life path find that one of their biggest lessons is to learn how to find balance, in life and within themselves: "Balance between the material and spiritual world; balance between the ego human mind and the inner voice of the soul; balance between self-discipline and self-control and a need to control circumstances, others, and the world.

This month, we dove deep into the mysteries of Libra in SkyDancer, with Venus at the Heart Chakra.

There have been beautiful astrological alignments & synchronicities all throughout our journey.

About The Justice Card of the Tarot

“Libra is associated with balance, harmony, cosmic harmony, beauty and proportion. Venus rules Libra, which is the domain of the Empress. Justice focuses the influence of the Empress as she unceasingly works towards establishing and maintaining equilibrium.

This card occupies the central position of the major arcana. The fulcrum. Representing a pivotal juncture into and through which the amalgam of the archetypal forces constantly interact, or relate.

Justice suggests the prodding action of life force which guides and impels one towards action. This could also be considered the compelling influence of Karma meaning simply “experience”. Though it is also attributed it to the “Balancing of the scales of Karma”. As Karma is inherently about natural balance, not static balance.”

-Excerpts above from Tarot Revisioned by Leigh J. McCloskey on the Card of Justice. Which explains a profound dimension of the Libran Mysteries.

These days, when she isn’t interpreting a natal chart, or translating the stars for her astrology blog, you can find her engaging in one of her favorite pandemic pastimes, unraveling her inner “good girl”, cultivating the ability to thrive in the deep, dark, unknown, or playing her favorite game of identifying fun paradoxes called “two things are true at once”.
