Where are we headed as a Collective?

I’m wondering how many people are feeling that doing things online vs in person, just isn’t cutting it anymore?

How many people are feeling a deep inspiration to be in community, with other bodies?

As I’ve met with clients and students all this week, this theme has been a thread throughout all of them.

I wonder how much of this is a manifestation of Pluto in Aquarius, and his (wide orb connection) to Uranus?

Uranus is at his station degree of 23 Taurus. From here he will push steadily forward into Gemini in July 2025.

It was he who brought us the “embodiment movement” in his trek through this Venusian sign that has so much to do with our Soma (as the moon is exalted here) when he moved into Taurus in 2018. Prior to that, we were doing primarily mind/meditative based spiritual practices.

I’m also wondering if in his move into Gemini, we will see a rebalancing of these two poles, in which both mind and body are equally important?

Uranus absolutely governs “what we are waking up too” in the realm of new levels of conscious awareness.

As we’ve been discussing these major outer planetary shifts, one thing I don’t often see mentioned is that all three outer planets are moving into their respective new homes in connection with each other.

Pluto is sextile Neptune, and Neptune is sextile Uranus, while Uranus and Pluto will be trining each other at the beginning degrees of the air signs Gemini and Aquarius.

So this is also something to be curious about. How this planetary triad will behave with these energies overlapping and exchanging messages and influences with each other..

Uranus the great awakener

Neptune the spiritual planet that also corresponds to Maya

And Pluto, the great revealer of truth.

I want to share a few words by my teacher, Renn Butler, from in his book “The Archetypal Universe” about Uranus, Neptune, Pluto energy.

“An empowered vision of human emancipation, successful integration of the sacred and profane elements of the psyche, descent into psychological underworlds followed by blessed rebirth into absolute consciousness. Human history leading inexorably to an omega point of collective awakening: obsessive levels of rebellion, or hedonism, a diffusion of evolutionary potentials in misguided political pursuits, submersion into extreme fantasies or delusions, premature exposure to unconscious contents without proper training of support”

He also mentions, “a mystical glorification of freedom and democracy, critical attitudes towards religious or political abuse of power, profound idealism and faith. The awareness of that all extreme ideological positions are simply subsets of human psychology”

This is just the planetary energy without the backdrop of the signs. The signs will show us where these themes may show up.

Lots of interesting curiosities brewing over here as we begin this year of massive shifts. Do you also have curiosities? Where are these energies showing up in your life? What new energy is coming into your awareness?

Damascena Tanis

Damascena is an Archetypal Astrologer, Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner, and The Facilitator of the Transformative Journey through the Mandala of Venus’ Wisdom, called “Sky Dancer”.

She is a passionate devotee of the ever unfolding mystery. As an expert observer, a trait she developed as an only child, she regards herself as both a student of life, and decoder of the cosmos.

Skilled at recognizing invisible patterns, and picking up on subtle shifts in the collective, she gets a thrill from uncovering and revealing the hidden threads that are woven together to create our paradigm.

Her passion for this existential detective work aligns well with her unique approach to one on one client work, as she helps others to discover the building blocks of their archetypal blueprint, and mythic overtones. She does not believe that astrology is static, and therefore works with clients to develop strategies and practices that allow them to transcend challenging aspects of their natal chart.

She lives on the Shores of Lake Erie with her husband, four kids, and Cat, Oscar (the grouch).

These days, when she isn’t interpreting a natal chart, or translating the stars for her astrology blog, you can find her engaging in one of her favorite pandemic pastimes, unraveling her inner “good girl”, cultivating the ability to thrive in the deep, dark, unknown, or playing her favorite game of identifying fun paradoxes called “two things are true at once”.
