AN UPGRADE EVENT

Wokism is the toxic mimic of real societal transformation.

Wokism crystallizes powerlessness, and makes decisions from a place of reaction.

Hyper Conservativism is the toxic mimic of societal transformation.

It relies too heavily on a diety outside oneself to make assumptions about how society should be run. And expects everyone to be enrolled in that dogma. Instead of entrusting one to enforce their own set of values.

Both of these movements offer more of the same.

Imbalance.

Instead of true paradigm shifting transformation.

We can’t find something holistic inside of a polarity.

Thus, as the polarities are exaggerated, we know, we are in the midst of an UPGRADE EVENT

All polarities resolve themselves once they reach the point of extremity.

With Pluto at the point of the USA return, we can expect massive upheaval in the political system, and a destruction of belief structures.

The Pluto return is supported by Uranus in Taurus, conjunct the North Node, that could help usher in a rebalancing of Masculine & Feminine ENERGIES. In addition to our currency/capitalistic structures.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, while Scorpio, which is currently housing the South Node, is ruled by Mars. The Nodes or “Eclipse Points” often point to the collective narrative, and the themes that the force of evolution will be addressing. We are currently in an eclipse portal. With the next eclipse happening on May 15/16.

In the USA chart, Pluto is in the “Second House” in Capricorn, while Taurus is considered the natural Second house. So the nodes straddling the natural second and eighth houses gives us additional information about how Pluto will behave.

In astrology, the second house, which is also called house of value, rules the economy, our possessions, money, material things, earnings and expenditures. As well as one's system of values.

-

Capitalism is entirely structured around the “circadian rhythm” alone. The circadian rhythm governs the male 24 hour hormonal cycle. But it does not factor in the 28 day feminine infradian rhythm.

It’s part of what results in Women trying to stuff themselves into a Male Corporate Archetype, then suffering extreme burn out, and a dissociation from the experience of the feminine.

It’s difficult to claim our full sovereignty in a paradigm that was set up to support the male body, and stress the hormonal system of the female body. It’s one component in the upswing in infertility. It also contributes to the extreme imbalance we now find ourselves in.

We must task ourselves to find ways to integrate the feminine into society in way that holistically honors both her “system” and her powerful contributions, without going back to disenfranchising women from public life. Women make equally powerful investments in leadership roles that will help advance society. I’m talking Partnership, not Domination.

The pandemic began to shift this. Working at home, and alternative work structures are the beginning of a new paradigm that could help address the feminine system in the labor force, which is part of the economy, and ruled by the second house.

Values and attachments are also themes ruled by Venus. With Uranus rocking through Taurus, we can see how truly lost we are. How confused we are about where we are going. And what values to ascribe too.

Our old religious system is corrupt and failing, and a new, more holistic system, has yet to come on line. Our reality attachments are being torn away, leaving us raw.

One of the benefits of Uranus/Taurus and the Venus/Capricorn cycle, is that it helps us come into a greater sense of embodiment/wisdom. Which is, in part, why we’ve seen the word “embodiment” crop up as common in the consciousness community. It’s a facet of new paradigm living.

Our hormonal rhythms, and deepening with the felt sense of being alive, is a large component of true embodiment.

I want to reassure people that we don’t need to have the whole picture now.

If we keep hold of the truth, how we sense the truth in our bodies, and move moment to moment from that place, we will contribute to advancing the timeline.

We will naturally coalesce around a more aligned set of values. And we can shift the way the system is structured to be more supportive and true.

It’s when we become disembodied, and instead mentally identified with these movements that we loose. We devolve, instead of evolving.

We are going to face a double helix of entropy and evolution as we move through the next few years.

There will be people who become more and more attached to political ideology as a way to feel safe, connected, and to experience as sense of belonging.

That’s why I’ve called the movements a “toxic mimic” of true societal transformation. None of those things, connection, true belonging, or safety, can truly be found inside these ideologies because they are rife with thought forms that move us further and futher away from nature and embodiment.

That’s part of the Pluto return. Destruction of the old. He holds the codes of The creator, destroyer, preserver Archetype.

It’s hard not to be afraid when the ground beneath us quakes. But that is literally our work.

To have faith in the process of evolution, even as we hold compassion for ourselves and others when fear comes up.

When we see the crumbling and cling to the false for comfort. When we notice we’ve grapped onto something untrue, we can bring ourselves back into alignment. Our own relationship to truth will light the way for others. That’s energetic law.

We are always co-weaving with the Universe, let’s put some attention on these threads, in service to the coming generations. If we’ve incarnated now, we are here for the big work.

Damascena Tanis

Damascena is an Archetypal Astrologer, Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner, and The Facilitator of the Transformative Journey through the Mandala of Venus’ Wisdom, called “Sky Dancer”.

She is a passionate devotee of the ever unfolding mystery. As an expert observer, a trait she developed as an only child, she regards herself as both a student of life, and decoder of the cosmos.

Skilled at recognizing invisible patterns, and picking up on subtle shifts in the collective, she gets a thrill from uncovering and revealing the hidden threads that are woven together to create our paradigm.

Her passion for this existential detective work aligns well with her unique approach to one on one client work, as she helps others to discover the building blocks of their archetypal blueprint, and mythic overtones. She does not believe that astrology is static, and therefore works with clients to develop strategies and practices that allow them to transcend challenging aspects of their natal chart.

She lives on the Shores of Lake Erie with her husband, four kids, and Cat, Oscar (the grouch).

These days, when she isn’t interpreting a natal chart, or translating the stars for her astrology blog, you can find her engaging in one of her favorite pandemic pastimes, unraveling her inner “good girl”, cultivating the ability to thrive in the deep, dark, unknown, or playing her favorite game of identifying fun paradoxes called “two things are true at once”.
