Today the Sun makes its annual conjunction with Pluto at 28 degrees Capricorn.

Symbolically this combination acts a lot like the winter solstice. A deep journey, transmutation of spirit, rising from the ashes, being reborn.

With Mars having stationed direct on the 12th, Mercury stationing direct today, then Uranus will station direct on the 23rd. Giving us the long awaited signal “all systems go”.

Meanwhile the Moon in Sagittarius is trining Chiron in Aries. And Jupiter has freshly re-arrived here for an unimpeded journey through the sign. Aries symbolizes the Fool Card in tarot. Bright Beginnings. The first step on a new journey.

We have a New Moon in the 1st degree of Aquarius on the 21st. Aquarius the sign of progress, the future.

And the Chinese New Year - Year of the Rabbit -happens on the 22nd. Rabbits are alert, vigilant, quick-witted, and ingenious.

After a long winter drag, and an endless stretch of night, the energy of this coming week is finally traveling towards the light, perhaps culminating with a burst fresh vitality. A sense of decisively moving forward. Gears beginning to turn once again. Blossoming creativity. And new life on the horizon.

Aside from all this, The Solar Gate of Imbolc is just around the corner, whereas the first shoots of tentative growth begin to lift, and we sense the beginning sparks of possibility, of new ways of being.
