Wisdom of Paradox

Yesterday morning I recorded an Astrology podcast about the upcoming Full moon in Pisces, and a whole lot about paradox, complexity, and nuance came through. The transmission was all about how many hard aspects there are, triggering, fogginess, competing truths, diverging narratives, and how finding a way to be with paradox is going to be key over the coming weeks.

Later, I got on a call where all of these same themes were discussed in detail. Meaning the theme of holding paradox is prescient. I’m not the only one picking up on it’s importance.

When we encounter a paradox—something that is contrary to received opinion, or that conflicts with our reality model—it crosses our wires and provides an opportunity to either upgrade or shut down. Paradoxes by their very nature are confusing.

It occurs to me when reality becomes this complex, and tricky, it heats the collective up to uncomfortable temperatures.

I’m a mom of four radically different humans. And I’ve had the benefit of watching what highly complex, even purposely confusing environments do to people.

It creates “pressure for clarity”. And that human need for clarity creates a “pressure to act”, A “pressure to choose”.

We don’t like feeling hazy. Living in the unknown, day in and day out, feels like a lot of work, like treading water. We’ve been doing that for more than a year, and it is valid to be exhausted from it.

But I propose this confoundedness, the illogical information ecology is deliberate. We are living in a carefully curated climate.

We are coming up on a Full Moon in Pisces conjunct Neptune.

Pisces is an internalized sign, and an aspect of Pisces is selflessness, a giving up of the ego, chivalry and sacrifice, a reflective consciousness. A desire to be unified with the wider community.

But Pisces is also a sign where virtue has been made of suffering and self denial. Being persecuted and persecuting others in an almost dogmatic way that seeks to convert people to their belief system is VERY Piscean In nature.

In addition to all of Neptune’s dreamy, and imaginative qualities, it can have addictive edge to it. Along with the desire to find a savior. Illusion and Maya are themes that move to the foreground in Neptunian activations. So is “unity consciousness”. The drive to get everyone “one the same page”.

It’s no wonder people are experiencing so much dissonance. Having trouble holding the both/and. Opting rather for a certainty narrative. Humans have an incredibly hard time living in the unknown. It’s so uncomfortable if we haven’t chosen it for ourselves.

We want to grasp onto “knowing”, or if we can’t “know” at the very least we want the ability to blend into the background like Pisces and Neptune do. They both inhabit a liminal diffuse space and will drive us towards spaces that match this same frequency. Creating a desire to “escape”.

I see all of the Pisces/Neptune themes being advertised to us. So we will have to determine for ourselves if the drive towards certainty, and merging with community choices is an internal orientation or being triggered by external forces.

The fog we are experiencing exists on both the macrocosm and microcosm. It is real to us, even if part of it is manufactured and being harnessed by someone else.

It’s the perfect environment to increase pressure on an exhausted population.

I sometimes wonder if the people in power are using the esoteric knowledge of the cosmos to increase the pressure. It’s been done before. It’s documented. So I don’t feel at all conspiratorial throwing that out there. I also don’t feel conspiratorial suggesting that a divided populace is an easy to control populace.

It could be one, or both sides, causing the fog. Which is why we are being pummeled by paradox.

The genius is, the purposeful confusion often tricks us into thinking that we are choosing our own solutions, when in reality the confusion is purposely herding us towards a desired outcome. In this case, I think the desired outcome is division.

It’s almost evangelical. And on both sides we are being presented with a savior. There is a convenient savior at the end of the bull run if we want a way out. A way to escape. “Just demonize the other guy, and turn towards this belief and you will be ok”. That’s what we are being sold. Somebody else’s form of ultimate truth.

Of all of the conflicting natures Neptune holds, above all it is the planet of higher love, a love that can set aside division.

So I propose that we take advantage of this side of Neptune and start loving people who don’t do what we want them to do. People who hold different beliefs. That we do not give in and FEED the divisiveness.

Stop outsourcing our knowing to someone or something else. But rather come back to that place where we acknowledge each other’s humanity.

This kind of love and tolerance is necessarily Piscean work. It’s the frequency Christ was modeled after. The deep, mystical Christ.

Along with cozying up with multiple truths, and multiple timelines.

Allow the paradox and complexity of it be all the clarity we need right now. Welcome the wisdom of Paradox. And love humans where they are. Deeply.
