EVOLUTIONARY IMPORT OF THE MOMENT
Let’s begin by looking at Venus Square Uranus
Venus square Uranus is a really fun and unique transit, brimming with opportunity.
Venus rules our Feminine Essence. She has the energetic signature of the dynamic feminine, or Shakti. So she is related to Soma Gnosis. How we know a thing is true inside of our body. The feeling tone of something as it arrives in our field.
She also rules values, resources, attunement, connection, balance, harmony, and the way we relate.
Uranus, on the other hand is the modern ruler of Aquarius.
If Capricorn rules closed systems, Aquarius governs everything that has left the closed systems to push at the edges. Think the heretics, the rebels, the revolutionaries, artists, visionaries, and activists.
One of the shadow sides of Aquarian Energy is ideological movements based on a distortion rather than truth. We have to remember with ideology we are still navigating through realms of fantasy rather than “isness”.
Uranus is a liberator. Associated with the Promethean Impulse. Jung saw him related to the drive towards individuation. Therefore, in some systems, Uranus corresponds to the Fool Card in the Tarot. He also represents the weird, eclectic, progressive, future oriented innovation. Think “mad scientist”
For me, Uranus is ALWAYS active inside of evolution. His action is to cause sudden irreversible change. Often when we’ve had a Uranian encounter we realize “we will never be the same”. He does this in service to evolution. Closes the door to “back to how it used to be”.
So when these two, Venus and Uranus meet, we get a unique opportunity to “feel” the truth of our evolutionary path.
It looks something like being presented with something “new” (novelty is another Uranian theme). Something we are told we should integrate into our lives because it will make it better. Or even a new value (Uranus in Taurus) we should hold because it’s better than the old value.
These two in combination give us the opportunity to “feel” whether or not integrating these new technologies, values, beliefs, etc, is alignment for our greater evolution.
In this case, the answer is felt on a somatic, intuitive level. It cannot really be met on the field of the mind.
I am so excited by the practice opportunity this affords us as we move further and further into this new timeline.
It’s an opportunity to refine our discernment. To redefine our values from a truth based path,
Venus helps pull us out of the mobile, fast paced energy of ideology, and helps ground us back in our body. Back in a pace that is more authentic to our organic speed.
Given that this Square is active at the moment her new cycle starts, the tension that arises between these two will be active throughout her next 19 month cycle.
It becomes part of our evolutionary curriculum.
Therefore it us crucial from an evolutionary standpoint to assess whether the rate of progress aligns with our values. Aligns with our organic soul journey.
We are not currently in a consensus about these things.
The modern populace is not being asked to weigh in on recent advances, there isn’t public debate before corporations unveil and distribute new tech products, nor have we given our consent to many of them. The whole ethos is shifting without our buy-in.
Which makes it vital that we each have our own practice. That we are conscious (Venus in Leo) of how we are voting with our dollars and intention. Before we outsource our life force to anti-life agendas.
In the Tarot, Leo, ruled by the Sun is associated with the Strength card. The traditional imagery of the card shows a woman opening the jaws of the lion. Supposedly showing man overcoming his animal nature, and our evolutionary superiority over the beast.
However, I think this Venus cycle is an opportunity for a course correct. Where the Lion eats the head of the Eagle (USA) and we take a moment to recalibrate to our true timeline, while pulling us back from the brink of false timelines.
Leo is ruled by the Sun, and the Sun governs the Supernal Path. The path towards new & higher timeslines. Having Venus as a HelpMate over the course of her next cycle is hugely promising as she mediates the Uranian impulse. AND as Uranus helps us strive ever more towards embodied sovereignty,
