The New Moon at happens at 14° Virgo
Like an antennae, the New Moon is picking up on all of the noise and incoherence in the collective. Competing storylines embed themselves in our psyche, the way competing currents in a river cause a whirlpool to develop. Essential tools for this month involve embodiment practices. Being grounded, and rooted in complete sovereignty, divorced from competing narratives or other people’s prescribed beliefs. This is a great time to develop your own inner reserves. Practice weaving your own story into the tapestry of reality, rather than doing that work for the group. Virgo is discriminating, sorting, and organizing the good from the rotten, what serves, from what debilitates. It helps us take better care of ourselves and discover how to thrive. This month take an opportunity to scrutinize your beliefs. Take a look at where you place your power. It’s also a good opportunity to revamp daily routines, our wellness rituals, and initiate new, more personalized programs. It also helps us to better align with our own inner truth.
New Moon Trine Uranus- This trine is EXACT. Which means it’s very influential. Uranus causes unexpected, instantaneous change. The immediate resolution of irreconcilable opposites. Uranus hooks into the nervous system and governs our drive for individuation, liberation, and unrestricted freedom. Up and out energetic. Uranus himself is still loosely square to Saturn. Saturn bringing in elements of sobriety, conservation, fear, and fated events. Hierarchy, authority, control. Wants to hold back Uranus’ up and out trajectory. Dense, slow, heavy, expiration, conservation. This is the old (Saturn) taking on the new (Uranus)
Mercury trine Saturn- Plans you are making for a long term project get a supportive boost this month.
Mercury opposite Chiron- Mercury acts a psychopomp, carry messages from the other realm. Chiron is the archetype that acts as the wounded healer, and mentors us in transforming our soul wounds into gifts. Pay special attention to your dreams and the symbols that stand out to you right now. They could be coming in to aid you on your healing journey.
Venus trine Jupiter- This is a feel good aspect, when both of our benifics connect. Bringing out feelings of love, affection, romance and good luck. Today is a great day to tap into and expand desires.
Mars Trine Pluto-This is a power whammy. Themes around how we advance our power will come up this month. We want to look at what vehicle we use to express power. Is it anger? Is it measured action? Or do we shy away from asserting ourselves, slinking back in places we need to take action.
The New Moon is Opposite Neptune- Neptune is the planet of love and unity. It can be sweet, diffuse, spiritual, borderless, and boundary less, “free love”. Neptune promotes a Utopian fantasy, no polarity, a singular society with agreement on morals and ideals. I wrote earlier this week about the Hindu Concept of Maya. And how Neptune can advance illusion because we abandon what is real in favor of what our higher ideals tell us is the more beautiful world we think is possible. We keep fighting for the images in our dreams rather than seeing what is right in front of this. When making aspects to other planets this month, we are getting the message that feeling into what is real, and true, whether it’s in what we read, and or hear on tv, is essential work.
Pluto square Eris- Remember this is our targeted demolition project. The breakdown to break through. Eris is the planet of divine retribution. Shaking us awake from our hypnotic slumber. Asking us to finally take a stand about what isn’t working any longer. In Eris’ mythology, her justice was quite strategic and even elegant. It was not head on war, and aggression. It was cunning. Pluto connecting with Eris brings the message that the old structures, the outdated ways of being must be transformed. We are on a collective underworld journey.
Virgo is an Earth Sign. Archetypes are the Priestess and in the Native Tradition, Spider Woman, who weaves the tapestry of reality. Virgo is discriminating, sovereign, and can pick patterns that arise in nature and the psyche.

Public Speaking is a challenge for me. Delphine offered me a chance to grow my voice and I took it. This is my first public speaking appearance in a long time. I’m happy with how it turned out, despite being quite nervous.
