I’ve been exceptionally hard on Neptune in recent times.
In honor of Neptune stationing direct, I thought I’d offer a more holistic perspective.
Throughout the pand.emic era, she was squaring the nodes in Gemini and Sagittarius. Really giving us a run for our money in the realm of truth/illusion.
So I railed on her for clouding our vision. For making the truth harder to discern.
Let’s look at some of her more beneficent qualities. Because they are plenty.
She’s a planet of deep universal truth and love. Truly the pure essence of spirit and Christ Consciousness.
When we’ve gone to hard down a truth and reality rabbit hole. It is Neptune that provides escape through her oceanic dreamlike qualities.
Escapism is part of the human condition. We ALL engage in it. Even if we like to think we don’t.
When we come home after a hard days work, and get lost in our favorite tv show, that’s a Neptunian activity. When we put our rainforest sounds on to fall asleep, we are engaging with Neptune. When we book a vacation to the beach, again, Neptune.
In case one hasn’t noticed, reality can be horrific. Truly gnarly. From war, terrorism, starvation, and the like. Nobody can stay plugged into that indefinitely without burning out.
Neptune helps us unplug, and reconnect to a GodLike source of love and benevolence. A place to rest into when it’s all too much.
Great artists often have strong Neptune signatures in their charts.
Neptune gives us the ability to imagine the impossible into being. To fill ourselves with optimism and hope when we most need it, even if it is misguided.
Neptune becomes problematic without a tether to reality.
We get out of balance when we spend all of our time in her nether realms without reconnecting with our ordinary, mundane, boots on the ground life.
She does have the potential to pull us into illusion, but in dire straights, she can equally save us by veiling us from a reality to harsh and grating to endure 24/7
The thing to remember is that Neptune soothes. She doesn’t ground.
