Portal of Intensity
PORTAL OF INSTENSITY
Watch Women Rise. Together? Or will there be a tear in the Sisterhood?
Now if you are a woman who already has rebellion baked into your cells, the coming weeks may feel supercharged for you, but the Rising part, that’s already your jam. You’ve been speaking up for months now. Challenging thought systems and the baked in narrative. But this month, the women I am speaking to are the ones who don’t necessarily want to rock the boat. Who don’t regularly do politics or confrontation. Who aren’t quite aware that the only way out is through. And that “through” is the middle way. So often we traverse the outskirts, trying to find a way around whatever is providing us an uncomfortable amount of stimulus.
Venus is moving into its domicile, or home sign of Libra, on August 16th. In Libra, Venus is the Relational Queen. Not just the Sovereign Queen. Her priorities are her relationships. She doesn’t mind whether or not it’s a gooey union, or if there’s friction, it’s just that her focus is on the space between her and another. She can spot disharmony or disturbance with laser precision. From an evolutionary perspective, she seeks to bring things back into balance. A JUST balance, not a comfortable balance. But in order to know that something lacks a just balance, one must first feel the discordance in the field. Justness is a primary component of mature relationship and love.
Vesta is already in Libra opposite Chiron in Aries. This signature is pointing towards the tension between the thing we are in devotion too, and personal healing of our sacred wound. Now for many of us, this is in total alignment. In fact, most of the women I know are in total devotion to their healing. But for others, who outsource their healing, whose sacred wound is lurking in the shadows, who distrust alternative, or non-mainstream forms of healing we may see a monumental clash of ideas.
Across from Libra, Eris (thought to be ruled by Libra because of her strong bent towards divine justice) in Aries is still in a powerful square to Pluto. This square has been triggering much of the underlying events, the targeted demolition project of 2020/2021. This isn’t a comfortable transit for those hoping to preserve the status quo, who are waiting for things to go back to normal. But for those looking forwards, Eris is pointing the way. She comes with the message that progress means upturning the apple cart. There is nothing to fear in death and destruction. It’s energy changing forms.
Mars conjunct Mercury, in Virgo, is coming into a trine with Uranus in Taurus. From a personal perspective this is often an eruption of the deepest truth inside of a person. A truth that is so big, it can’t remain locked away any longer. A crack in the chrysalis of the stories that have mummified us. It brings out the rebel within, the person looking for liberation from their perceived oppressor. When people face the bigness of their deepest truth, or are forced to look at a truth they aren’t ready to see they can react in really unpredictable ways in an effort to batten down the hatches. To keep the chaos inside.
All of this makes for a powerful brew of Polarity. Women who in devotion, whether it be loved ones, safety, freedom, or truth are going to speak up in the name of their form of justice. Now the thing that isn’t certain is whether or not they will be rising together or in opposition to one another.
My hope is that by pointing towards this particular celestial symphony it will help us to have more compassion for each other as we move through this portal of intensity. We should remember that underneath whatever is happening, the motivating factor is bringing more coherence into the collective. Even if we don’t agree with the other person’s method, and we believe their information or facts are wrong. Even if it appears they are vomiting discord directly into the field. With awareness we can find and hold our own equanimity, compassion, and promote a love that lacks separation.
